It’s been a bit since my last post, sorry! In part because while I like hiking/walking in the spring as much as any other season, it’s not the best time to take photos of trails as there are no leaves yet (it tends to be May before most of our trees have leaves here) and I have a certain idea of what I want in my blog posts to look like. But mainly, it was because I was busy planning a two-week “girl’s trip” for three friends and me (you’ll hear about it in later posts) and then later on the trip.
But I’m back, rested and will start posting weekly (and sometimes more often) again, starting with this one.
While reading posts from other blogs I follow, I started thinking that perhaps I don’t always need long(ish) posts with photos, that sometimes, a short post is fine. So, you might see a bit more variety in the types of posts in the future. There will also be a small series of posts about my May “girl’s trip” to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland starting next week. And thankfully, it’s summer which means I’ll be out and about on the local trails, so I’ll have more material for articles. So, there are several upcoming articles either scheduled, started or planned.
However, I do need to put a plan in place so I don’t have a large gap of time between posts again as I’d really like to post at least weekly. Perhaps pre-write a few articles for times when I get busy or have a bunch of photos ready from trails I know I want to write about but haven’t yet done so.
What do you do to keep the flow of articles/posts steady? I’d love to hear from other bloggers and writers!
